Hi Shashank,
You can refer below documentation if your question is w.r.t disaster recovery:
https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/layer7-identity-and-access-management/identity-suite/14-2/virtual-appliance/installing-virtual-appliance/deploying-redundant-system-without-starting-any-services.htmlThis method can serve "hot-standby", if you want "hot - hot" you might need another DB.
If you meant just adding a new IDM server(node) to existing VAPP setup, That can be done:
• Deploy a new OVA system.
• From any of the existing cluster members, log in to the Virtual Appliance management console.
• Add the new server and drag any service you want to deploy on it.
• You can also remove any server from the list.
• Select the deploy button.
At this point, the solution adds the new server to the existing cluster and updates its cluster key.
Thanks,
Amit

Subject: Single node to High Availablity setup of CA IDM vApp 14.1
Hi,
We are planning to migrate our current Ca vApp 14.1 environment to Highly available environment.
1. Since we already have a live environment, considering it as node 1, can we setup the node 2 in parallel ?
2. Is there any documentation which can help us on how this can be achieved ?
3. Will both the nodes point to same DB ?
Thanks in advance.
