    Hi Team,
    Identity Suite 14.3 vapp.
    Customer is asking whether Identity Portal can check for submitted request or pending request ?

    Eg. If a user request "Internet Access", gotten a requestid=123 and submitted for approval.
    Then 5 mins later, the same user submit the request "Internet Access" again, can Identity Portal "know" that there is pending request and prevent user from submit the second request(which is the same as the first request) ?

    If Identity Portal, can not prevent these kind of submission meaning that user can submit unlimited requests based on the same "entitlement".

    I am thinking that portal does not know what the user has submitted before, there is no attribute list on a user profile that tracks previous requests. Given the use case, what if the user submits for internet access, then submits a create user, then submits internet access, then submits a self modify because they locked out their password trying to access the internet, then submits and internet access request?

    what if they submit the request today, then it gets rejected. do they never get to submit again because is it recorded that they submitted?

    Perhaps there are others in the communities who have experience in doing this and we invite them to comment here also.
