  • 1.  Email Notification not working for Single Step Approval

    Hi All,

    I have configured an email notification (System > Email) to send an email to the workflow approver whenever a work item gets assigned. The email notification is sent correctly for Two Stage Approvals but the same is not working for 'Single Step Approval'.

    Details of the Email configured:

    Entry Rule : Task Tag equals 'ModifyUser'
    When to Send--> Workflow Pending: SingleStepApproval


    Am I missing anything? The same configuration works if the workflow is of type Two Stage Approval.

    When Checking VST does the send mail event fail?
    This should show if approvers are resolved, in both single and two stage.
    Does the approval show up in the worklist at all?
    (we assume the resolved approver has an email address and it is not resolving to default approver with no email)


    Enable debugging to help find the messages sent during the two stage, then compare those messages to the single stage workflow.
