    Hi Prasanna,

You can review this document on how to enable log messages password synchronization and what types of messages are logged.

    https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/layer7-identity-and-access-management/identity-manager/14-1/administrating/password-management/synchronizing-passwords-on-endpoints/password-synchronization-on-windows.html#concept.dita_5f45c6327d1ec27d07c0f8d4c535773fc9fe60e1_EnableLogMessages

All log messages are stored in the eta_pwdsync.log file which is stored in the password_sync_folder\Logs

    Thank you,
    Nicole

    Hi Nicole and Team,

I could get hold of eta_pwdsync.log, however there are two observations that I am looking for some help on:

    1. The user whose password is changed directly on Active Directory is not present in this log. Hence, not sure if the details are not present as there was no error while Synching the password? Does this log contain only details for a failed Password Sync?
    2. For another user that I am trying to troubleshoot, I see "! Information: Password Sync. Agent gave up waiting for a reply from eTrust Admin Server". May I know what is Admin Server referred here? (Application server/JBOSS? Provisioning server? Or Identity Manager Server? )

    Appreciate any inputs!

    Regards,

    Prasanna Mandadi
