Regular/Scheduled vApp backup

Hi,

In 14.2 the commands backupVapp and restorevApp were added to the virtual appliance so the the configuration could be saved to a file, which could then be copied from the vApp using scp.

This is a very manual and interactive process.

Is there any way to schedule automatic backups of the virtual appliance?

What do people do at their customers to ensure Identity Suite running on a virtual appliance is regularly backed up?

vAPP does not include any scheduled backup functionality.You might want to submit an enhancement request in the communities Ideation section. Perhaps other customers can share how they schedule backups.
