Identity Portal - Password Validation check

Hi Team,
Am using Identity Portal 14.3.  During testing on force change password, after login portal it prompt for change password.
Then i key a special char in form, but there is password validation(checking for punctuation) seem running in Identity portal,

Q. Does anyone know where is this configured been stored ? 
Q. Does anyone know where i can configured my own password validation setting ?

Identity Portal is a GUI layer for IM.  The password policies and configurations are set in Identity Manager.  Review your password policies in IM.
