Can you run a sniffer on the SpectroSERVER (SS) system and sniff the packets between the SS and the device? See how the device is responding? It could be a latency. By default, the SS will wait 3 seconds for a response. If the response is not received within three seconds, Spectrum will ping and if the ping is successful, Spectrum asserts the Management Agent Lost alarm.

this article for CiscoNXOS version 5 but our devices in version 7.0
