  • 1.  Device in monitored devices but not in NetOps inventory

    Hello

    Have a case where a device appears in the Netops "Monitored devices" when I do a search.

    But the same device does not appear when I do a Global Search in NetOps portal neither in the Perfomance->Inventory->Devices.

    Anyone faced the same problem?

    Anyone can help on the solution for this problem?

    Joe,

    NetOps Version 20.2.6,

    But after some debugging it seems the problem is different:
    1. The equipment appear in both inventory and aggregator but when I do a search by name the item doesn't seem to appear in the inventory.
    2. The item is in the inventory though. If I do a search by IP, I find the device.

    Seems like a bug in global search?

    global search has new functionality

    Note, it only searches Devices and Interface Names by default.  Won't search groups/etc without changing to All.

    are oyu searching for device name, or perhaps device alias?
