    Hello

Is it possible to use DX NetOps (some of its modules) as an SNMP Proxy?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Thank you for the feedback.

I see SNMP traps only in the documentation though...

How about NetOps being able to centralize SNMP get queries? Is it somehow possible to have other systems doing SNMP queries to NetOps and the platform forward the results to them? (acting as SNMP proxy for "SNMP Gets" also)

Do you know if this is somehow possible?

    Thank you.

No, that is not possible. SDC handles SpectroSERVER communication only. Either polls originating from SS or traps being sent by devices to SS (via SDC).

TrapX can be configured to forward traps processed to other systems.

I find this a very common request with anyone in a large organization supporting multiple SNMP Management systems.   All that SNMP traffic that is basically the same SNMP get's have to be queried by every single management system.    would be great to setup a separate "Management' segment to pass all this SNMP trafifc.    just my .02
