How to map an proprietary oid for the device hostname in DX PM?

    Hello,

Fortinet VIP devices in a cluster have the hostname on the machine in a proprietary oid instead of the standard sys oid.

Is it possible to have this oid mapped in such a way that the VIP device will get this oid for the hostname instead of the sys oid?

    Thank you.

We don't get hostname from the device.  We always query the OS name server for hostname.

If you are referring to System Name, you'd probably need to write your own VC for System MF.
Mirror System Statistics VC, and point to the correct OIDs for everything in the Fortinet MIB.  Be sure to add a key OID only those devices support, and move the VC above System Statistics VC probably.
