    Can anyone out there tell me about their experience with the Servicenow integration with Spectrum. Pro's , Con's, etc

    We are integrated with ServiceNow (New York) and Spectrum10.2.0.  We are integrated through events and not incidents within SNOW. We have been on SNOW for at least 2 years some of or biggest problems have been with the CMDB having all the CIs that are required and correct labeling.  We are creating and clearing events from SPECTRUM to SNOW systematically.  I'm in the process of going to 10.4  and seeing a lot of challenges there.

    Just read manual said 10.4.1 support SNOW New York version. How is the status on your side now? We are just planning to start to integrate Spectrum with SNOW. May I ask if "MID Server" need to be downloaded from ServiceNow and installed on Spectrum server(or another server) before I go to "Service Desk Configuration" to add ServiceNow service/server?

    You can install MID Server on Spectrum server or on a dedicated box.

    ​our company only initiate EVENT instead of INCIDENT for ServiceNow, so currently we are using Perl Scripts to initiate ServiceNow Events. Does Spectrum integration only support ServiceNow Incidents?

    Yes, at the moment it supports only the Service Desk functionality.

    Hi Tao,

    Another option would be to REST to create the incidents in the Event Management module, through Alarm Notifier.
    This is the command we're using in SetScript:
