    Hello,

Is it possible to use regular expressions in DX PM "Quick Filters" for retrieving devices and interfaces?

If so, do you know what are the operators that we can use?

    Thank you.

    Best regards

    Bruno,

I think you may have raised a support case for this but if not and if you are still looking for guidance:

The "Quick Filters" in places like Dashboards or Inventory and the like do not utilize Regular Expressions (regex), they perform a "like" operator based search.

actually you can, when you define Group, go to RULE tab, create a RULE and use drop down to choose "match regex", then  you can type in something like this: datacenter[123]ecommerce[ab]…. etc to fetch those devices with name start with datacenter1 or datacenter2 or datacenter3, and also name contains ecommercea or ecommercb, so on and so forth.
Just be careful try not to use slash /w /W Regex, it wont work for PM.
    Hope that helps!

    Tao,

Yes, regex can be used in Group Rules but Bruno's question revolves around the "Quick Filters" in other places in the product.  It is here were regex is not useable.

Here are some examples of a "Quick Filter" in the default "Infrastructure Overview" dashboard.
