  • 1.  File system offline not supported for MS Windows native SNMP Agent

    Posted Jul 04, 2019 08:39 AM
    Good day,
We try to monitor file server with many logical disc attached, and if one disk disconnected or turned to offline the DX Spectrum do not generate Offline alarm on it. Only disk utilization monitored as required.
We find in documentation that native MS Windows host SNMP Agent not supported official by Spectrum. Is it correct? And we can't monitor of disconnecting file system from server without installation of special agent?

I guess you should be able to generate an alarm if the disk is offline even using the default snmp agent.

May be the alarm is getting generated against the application model, change it to device and see
