    The message is self explanatory... Check to see if the SpectroSERVER process is running on the machine.

    You can verify the below to make sure everything is OK before we check further.

    1. Check if the SpectroSERVER is running
    2. Check the communication between SpectroSERVER and OneClick server (ping between two servers)
    3. Check if local firewall is disabled
    4. Verify the ports 14001 - 14006 are open

    If all of these are ok, you may need to open a case to further troubleshoot.

    Also make sure the OneClick hostname is in the $SPECROOT/.hostrc file of the SpectroSERVER machine.

    If the problem showed up after you rebooted the server, ensure the SpectroSERVER application is up and running.

    You can use the XMING to launch the Spectrum Control Panel in Linux environment.

    https://community.broadcom.com/enterprisesoftware/viewdocument/configuring-xming-and-putty-to-forw

    And you can stop and start the SpectroSERVER application via script located in $SPECROOT/bin/ directory:
    $ ./stopSS.pl
    $ ./startSS.pl

    Must be logged as Spectrum Install Owner account to run the scripts.

    The database is corrupted, you have to perform the restore of a previous health backup file.


    If you don't have any backup, the only option is Initialize to Legacy Database.
