Hi Samuel
As others have mentioned, you dont want to suppress the OOTB alarms. They are critical notifications for network management to inform when your devices are down. These cannot be suppressed.
However you should be able to filter them for your reports, so I recommend to stay focused within CABI for this issue.
- What version of CABI are you running?
- Version of Spectrum?
- Any other issues running report?
- Did you open a case on this? May be a good idea so you can share screenshots, logs, and schedule webex.

I created a dashboard in CABI that includes Top N most common alarms.
At the top of the list are those OOTB alerts.
I tried creating a report that filters those alerts but it doesn't appear to be working.
When I add it to the dashboard the filters aren't there.

Sam,
You cannot suppress them without causing issues with Fault Isolation.
You can filter them form being displayed in the Alarms tab.
What is the reason for wanting to suppress them?
Joe

Is there a way to suppress the OOTB Spectrum alerts such as 'DEVICE HAS STOPPED RESPONDING TO POLLS' or 'MANAGEMENT AGENT LOST'.
We don't really need these alerts and want to suppress them.
I tried doing something similar in the past and it created some irregular behavior in Spectrum.
The alerts would trigger in but not clear automatically.
