  • 1.  Spectroserver.mdmp file reasons

    Hello All,

    I a file in Support directory names as Spectroserver.mdmp file that is approx 2.2 GB size and many other files IMG attached. please guide me the purpose of these its any system file or i will delete it if its unnecessary just using disk.

    Those are memory dump files resulting from SS crashes. Those should be presented to Broadcom support in the event of an issue, to troubleshoot the problem. If you don't ned the problem traced, you can delete those.

    Thanks if i delete it if issue occurs system will create these files again?

    Yes, that is correct.
    An MDMP file is a compressed data file created by Windows after a program error or crash. It contains data "dumped" from the program's memory space, which includes information about the error that can be used for debugging.

    The incident_data files can also be deleted. These get created when Support requests further troubleshooting data. Since these files are all older, they are no longer relevant by this time, so can be deleted.
