  • 1.  Is there a limit on the number of interfaces for Bits - Total?

    Hello

Is there a limit on the number of interfaces that could be "summed" together to obtain a line chart representing the "Bits - Total" KPI?

Suppose I have 100 interfaces and I need to sum their Bits-In / Bits Out to get line charts for the IN/OUT "traffic".

Is this possible using DX PM? Or is there a limitation on the number of interfaces that could be "summed"?

    Thank you.

If you are doing aggregate to a group or device, DA will aggregate all the interfaces in the group/device into 1 data point per resolution time slice (be it 1m/5m/1hr/etc).

There is no way to only aggregate the first 100 interfaces in a group or on a large device.   It's all or nothing.

    Jeffrey,

But there is no limitation on the number interfaces I aggregate per group then?

If I have 50 on a group it will aggregate the 50... if I have 500 it will aggregate the 500?

    Thank you.

Exactly.  May take longer for 500 vs 50, but it will do it.

What View/graph are you using to make that happen.
In his case let's use Bits out.
Kinda a quick step by step

How did you go about accomplishing this? Was this odata or a graph?
    How many interfaces?
