You may need to custom your Global Collection for CA PM data source

You control what devices are synced to PC from Spectrum.

Spectrum does sync all interfaces to PC, but PC only shows the interface in Inventory->Interfaces if it comes from another data source other than Spectrum.

And to control what interfaces are polled in Data Aggregator, using Monitoring Profiles filters.  That'll control what interfaces DA marks as Active.
DA only syncs active interfaces to PC, so only Active Interfaces should appear in Inventory->Interfaces.

    Hi Jeffrey ,

So in what conditions DA picks the interface is active

it depends  on what monitoring profile filters you add.  out of the box it is:
    See the following documentation:

    Hello Issac,

    Adding to Joe's reply -

You can use the contents / values of the attributes listed above to build your filtering policy.
One that is commonly used is ifAlias - but you need a standard for what you going to put in that field for the Router / Switches  that you can use to determine what ports you want or don't want to monitor in the tools
One customer used a prefix of L3| / L2| for layer 2 and 3 ports they wanted to monitor

You need something that will help you differentiate between the ports you want to monitor and the ones you done.
