Tuesday Tip: Ad Hoc Reports Are Blank

CA Spectrum Tuesday Tip by Bill Wolforth, Support Engineer for March 9, 2012

After configuring an Ad Hoc report to run the results are blank.

Description: After starting the Ad Hoc Reports and selecting the required data fields for the customized report, the report appears blank (See Figure 1)

Solution: During configuration of the Ad Hoc Reports you will receive a Java Pop Up (See Figure 2). The pop up will ask if you wish to block potentially unsafe components from being run. If you select Yes the reports will appear blank. Instead select the No option and the resulting report will contain the correct data. If you have selected “Yes” you will need to close the browser and re-launch.
