    Title: Landscape Disconnect

    Description:
Alarm information from Spectrum OneClick looks as though it disappears and reappears about 10 seconds later. It looks like an update is happening. The alarm counts in the OneClick navigation pane disappear, and alarms from within the OneClick Alarm window disappear. About ten seconds later, all the alarm information populates back into OneClick. Please select the following link for more information on this subject

    Jon,

I search through all of the active Spectrum knowledge documents but cannot find this one. It is a legacy doc and my have been archived a while back and/or not made it to the new systems over the years.

I found it. Its an old KB for 9.2 patch, not relevant here.

    Article Record Type Generic
    Summary Landscape Disconnect
    Title Landscape Disconnect
    URL Name
    Article Number TEC563711

    Description:

Alarm information from Spectrum OneClick looks as though it disappears and reappears about 10 seconds later. It looks like an update is happening. The alarm counts in the OneClick navigation pane disappear, and alarms from within the OneClick Alarm window disappear. About ten seconds later, all the alarm information populates back into OneClick.

    Solution:

This issue is due to a CORBA communication problem between the OneClick server and the SpectroSERVER(s).

This issue is resolved with the following PTF patch for Spectrum release 9.2.0: Spectrum_09.02.00.PTF_9.2.029

If you have not yet installed the latest hotfix patch H06 and need this PTF patch, please open an issue CA Spectrum Support to request a copy of this patch.

Although, Alarms appearing and disappearing could still be CORBA disconnects, especially if Tomcat is overloaded maybe?
