Link Switch x AP - Different landscapes.

Hello, team, how do I connect a switch to other Accesspoint, where is the switch in a landscape and the AP in another landscape? I can not create ProxyModel for the AP because it has dynamic IP.

Spectrum currently does not officially support “cross landscape” WLC/AP modeling.  You need to model the WLC and AP on the same landscape.  If you don’t, then you cannot properly model/monitor the connectivity.

 

On the other landscape you might be able to create the switch as a proxymodel and manually create the connection to the AP…but on the other server with the switch you are correct, the modeling would not be accurate as soon as the AP changes IP.
