    Hi Team,

    We installed the systemedge agent in one end server and fixed the major and critical thresholds for one disk monitoring.Here issue is event and corresponding alarm for major condition is  triggered but for critical condidtion there is only event but alarm not generated. Kindly help us on this.

    What are the events codes for the Major and Critical condition you have in the Events tab?

    Hi Silvio,

     

    0x01169b16 is the event code for the Major condition in the Events tab. Threshold set for critical also but it is appended for major alert when it is raised.

    Hi Santhosh,

     

    The 0x1169b16 is a conditional event. Based on the value of aggCurrState variable, CA Spectrum asserts an alarm with different Severity. 

    As you can see in the screenshot below, OOB, there is no Critical alarm for this event code. But you can try changing it.
