  • 1.  Can we put WEB portal log on page of Netvoyant & NFA into maintenance mode?

    Posted May 18, 2015 05:58 PM

Whenever we have NetVoyant and NFA not available for some reason (say to apply MS patch in servers) then during the time whenever a user trying to access web GUI then it should give messege as NetVoyant is undergoing maintenance, try after 30 minutes.

    Is something that possible?

That was done via some html modifications to C:\NetQoS\SingleSignOn\SignIn.aspx.

Line 36 was inserted into the file to produce the banner.

Got you David, Can we feed this in NV GUI in admin options, so that we can go to admin and Click on maintenance then give our input so that it will go for maintenance (during the time GUI will not be available) then uncheck the maintenance option and then GUI available.

Adityakumar this is not an option through the NV GUI.  You would have to use David's solution.

    Aditya,

Having a menu option for this would be nice however since NPC development has stopped the only option is to manually change is.

Unless there is something else please set this thread to Answered.
