  • 1.  Spectrum to show IPV4 and IPV6 address?

    Posted Jun 17, 2015 11:08 AM

We have both IPV4 and IPV6 addresses on some border systems. It appears that Spectrum can really only accommodate a single IP address for display and/or as the device's Network Address. This is true in both the Information tab, and in the interfaces tab. It would be helpful to be able to see/assign both IPV4 & IPV6 addresses. We're currently running Spectrum 9.3.03.15

    Thanks,

    Al

    Hi Al,

You are correct in that the Network_Address/0x12d7f attribute only holds 1 IP Address (IPv4 or IPv6). This is the address that the SpectroSERVER

will use to poll the device with.

There is an 'IP Redundancy' feature that can be enabled to configure alternate addresses should the device not respond to the Primary Address. You

can also use this view to change the Primary Address that is used by Spectrum.

    Hello Almon,

Can we mark your question as answered? Does the suggestions from Greg helped?
