  • 1.  job failure and chase response is error job in running state,but user process is not running.

    Hi. out of the blue 2 Solaris servers are generating chase errors.  the group in charge can not find a pro lem, I can not see any issues.   Any one have seen this problem.

    Hi,

    Could you please check the status of file .csam_broker 
    e.g.    ls -al /opt/CA/SharedComponents/Csam/SockAdapter/.csam_broker

    It should show like this:
    srwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Aug 25 18:16 /opt/CA/SharedComponents/Csam/SockAdapter/.csam_broker

    If you get an I/O error, this could be the cause of the chase error.

    srwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Aug 25 18:16 /opt/CA/SharedComponents/Csam/SockAdapter/.csam_broker

    If you get message "csam_broker: I/O error", this might be the reason for the chase errors.

    Ramon, without detail how can we as a community help? did you open a trouble ticket with broadcom?
