    Does anyone know how to create an alert notification when the Shadow Scheduler takes over??

    Hey,

    Please note this is for older version , but should still be the same.. 

    I think the best option is to monitor the autosys -e log (the file name is written at the start). 
    When Shadow takes over , it should write something along the lines of ROLLOVER and changed to DUAL server mode.
    would be best if you had a test env , just stop one of the servers , look at the log , and then look for the message that appers

    You also have the option of enabling SNMP. That produces the trapEpRollover Trap when the shadow takes over.  
    The Event Manager is still available in common components and can be used to monitor and take action all AutoSys events

    Hi John, I found another method.  The user-specified notification procedure.  This allows you to define a command to execute for selected AutoSys Alarms, the EP Rollover being one of them.  See https://docops.ca.com/ca-workload-automation-ae/11-4-2/en/administrating/ae-administration/set-alarm-notifications.
