JOB Control in iXP

Hi.

In iXP, is it possible to control privilege by separating only part of FORCE START in JOB Control part?
(For example, certain users can not allow FORCE START)

JobControl pertains to all sendevent actions, however you can assign certain Filters to a user so they can only see some jobs, and therefore only allow sendevents on those subset of jobs.

Ofcourse I knew that JobControl pertains to all sendevent actions.
What I want to know is that I want to prevent certain users from using only the FORCE START function in the ALL  jobcontrol.
Is it possible to set this up?

Sorry for delay in my response, I must have missed the notification that you responded.

 

iXp is not as fine grained as the WCC/EEM sendevent restrictions (Thanks for pointing that out Steve).  If the filter for JOBCONTROL matches a job it will display the entire JobControl popup menu selection - there is no further fine grained control at this time. 

 

If I am still not understanding your question, perhaps a screenshot or two would get me on the right page.
