    Hi Experts,

     

    Is it possible to install CA WA AE scheduler, oracle db and application server with the help of silent installation feature, please suggest.

     

    As per document graphical mode required for linux server.

    Hi Retu,

     

    Yes you can run a silent install on Linux. Please consult the docops page:

    (UNIX) Install the Server, Client, or Agent Silently

     

    You can install the server, client, or agent silently. You are not prompted to enter responses like you are during a normal installation. The silent installation uses a response file that you create to get the required information.

    To install the server, client, or agent silently, follow these steps:

    1. Create a response file
    2. Install the server, client, or agent silently

    I am able to run command without need of monitor from SSH session, thanks.

    It isn't an actual run its the formulation of the response file. And i would be very careful with just building a response file by hand. If CA gives a sample that is great .. if they do not better to be safe than wrong.
