Hello Cristina,
You get the error because the box you run the PAM Client on does not have Internet access hence is unable to download the updated JRE.
To download and deploy it manually get
https://d21oi5tjuccwe.cloudfront.net/ca-pam/module/win/runtime-1.8.0_201.zip
- Unzip runtime-1.8.0_201.zip to the folder you installed the PAM Client to, e.g C:\Program Files (x86)\CA PAM Client overwriting the existing
C:\Program Files (x86)\CA PAM Client\runtime-1.8.0_201 folder
- launch the PAM Client and connect to your PAM appliance
- it should now download the newer JARs without issue
