PAM session recording for SSH

Hi Team,

We have configured session recording for Linux using SSH.At the time of policy configuration between user and device, in the recording tab it is showing Bidirectional check mark. Can anyone explain, why we need this bidirectional. What is the purpose of it?

For CLI connections, to capture both output and input lines, select Bidirectional

Otherwise, only output lines are captured.
