  • 1.  Api to set tag on device

    Hi, we are setting tags on several devices with api with no problems.

    On around 2% of total devices, we got this error :

    "Bad Request: PAM-CMN-1599"

    The api user has "Device/group Manager role" for "all device" , we have also checked the settings on that failing devices and all seems the same with the working devices



    Can you please help ?

    Can you reproduce the issue while submitting the discrete API call on the same devices you got the error with?

    If yes, what does happen when you use the GUI to add the same information to the affected devices – while being logged on as the same user which you used for the API call?

     

    Reproducing the issue on the same devices but not on others and you also getting the error in the GUI there might be an issue in PAM itself – please open a Support Case with us and we shall have a closer look.

     

    If the issue is random try inserting a delay in the loop to allow PAM to complete the previous transaction.

    The issue is not random and always an same devices
