  • 1.  CA PAM Hardware appliance upgrade ram memory and cpu is possible?

    Posted Jul 24, 2020 01:59 PM
    Hello community!

We have a client with the CA PAM hardware device and the RAM is 16 GB. The client needs to update to version 3.4 and the experience with another client is that the best scenario is to have 32 GB or 64 GB of RAM, by the way, this client has provided 3000 devices, approximately 1000 privileged accounts and 600 end users, in this ca pam scenario will be in high demand. Is it possible to upgrade the RAM on the hardware ca pam device from 16gb to 64gb?

    Thank you!
    Adolfo.

Hi Adolfo, The way forward is to replace the older hardware models with the newer ones, which have 64 GB memory. Most of the old model have their warranty expiring soon, or even expired already. There is no memory upgrade option for the old 304L appliances.

Hi @Ralf Prigl Is there information where I can see the end of life, support and maintenance of the device model?
