Patch cleanup

Our local patch database is growing too big to maintain.
Is there a recommended procedure to clean up old patches without breaking dependencies between rollups?

Are you talking about mdb itself, the downloaded patch location or software delivery patch manager packages?

Hi Gabriel,

The main problem is about software delivery PM packages. Windows rollups, specially Windows 10 rollups, are too big to maintain.

You can archive the packages, so they won't take space in the Software Library.
Once archived, you can either delete them from the archive location (disc) and/or back them up somewhere else in case you'd need to restore them to the library.

The problem with archiving is that it's a one by one action. Also, you cannot guarantee that you are not archiving a patch needed for a rollup.
