HMAgent High CPU

Hi Team,

- ENVIRONMENT:

ITCM r14.03 (SP3)

MSSQL2016

WINDOWS

- PROBLEM:

The general CPU usage for the HMAgent process seems very much unusually high. This causes the overall CPU on the server to run very high (between 90% -100%).  Is this a known issue and/or what can be done to address/remediate this?

Hi Brian,

As the problem persists from SP2 and not something new on SP3 release, please collect detail traces and process dump for HMAgent process    I didnt find  any known issues on HMAgent performance except one case few years back where it went upto 20 to 25% of CPU consumption which was in the limit  but not as high as this case.
