File scan with version of the file

Hi, 

I wonder if anybody has done a File Scan or some other way to get inventory of a specific file and file version into Client Automation?
Trying to get the actual version of Microsoft Teams, but when we do a normal software scan we only get the version of Teams Machine-Wide Installer.
That will not show the running version of Microsoft Teams.

I know that the problem is that Microsoft Teams is installed per user and wonder how I can get the right version of Teams into Client Automation.

Hi Per-Anders,

 

In the next release of Client Automation we have enhanced the Heuristic Software scan to detect software that has been installed under the user context.

 

Until then, you will need to create a Software Signature to detect Teams. I would just use the version range and not check the other boxes.
