    Dear all,

    If MS release an emergency update to Win OS, outside standard Patch Tuesday, do the CA/Broadcom standard processes still apply, i.e. the patch(es) will have metadata and any applicable rollup details issued based on the 48/72 hour standard turnaround as with Patch Tuesday?

    Or should we plan for emergency patching to be done differently with the tooling - e.g. should we ensure a download is done in a manual fashion from Microsoft Update and then manually import in order to use standard Software Distribution capabilities of ITCM?

    I realise some of this depends on company/customer service requirements, but I'm looking to ask what others are doing and if they have optimised their emergency patching processes and still used ITCM to good effect.
