Hi team, hope some help on this thread.

Currently, due to the increase of employees working at home multiple RDP session on Terminal Services Servers are made. So, there it goes... Can i take remote control on this rdp services server onto a specific user remote session?

Currently using ITCA 14.0.3 on Windows server 2016.

    Thanks for your comments.

    Stay safe!

    Regards,
    JOHN

    Hi John,

Yes you can connect to an individual session on the Terminal Services Server.

You can modify the RC connection address to include the session ID or User Name that you want to connect to. For Example

    Connect with RC to  "hostname.domain.com$domain\username"
Connect with RC to  "hostname.domain.com$n (where n is the session ID of the user)

    Steve.

    Hi Andrea,

In this screen shot we can see two users connected to a server:

From the RC viewer in the Address field, if i enter 2 i would get the session of the user administrator and if i entered 3 i would get the user parst04.

Or i can enter the User id of the user i wish to connect to:

    Hi Steve,

okay is there an option for pcs rather than servers? most of our employees are now rdp'ing into their pcs and if we do a remote session to their pc in CA its just a locked/logon screen. we do not see their session.

    Thanks
    Andrea

    Hi Andrea,

Its not different between Server or Workstation, other than on the Workstation you can only have one logged in user session.

    Andrea,

If you are running 14.0 SP3 then please open a case and request T533351. Install this on both the viewer and host and see if you still have the problem.

In that case please open a call with detailed traces from View and Host along with the Viewer session recording.
