Collection and Storing Custom User Information

Hi,

Is it possible to collect and store custom user information.  Example I want to collect the region the user is based, building name, build address, floor location, cell phone number, managers name etc. to be filled in and submitted by the user at startup. to be run once every 6 months.

Your help would be appreciated.
