    from the enterprise go to control pannel>domains right click add domain

    checks the sql tcp port connection, default 1443, from the Enteprise to the DM database

    TCP port is enable on 1433 from the em server to dm server.

    on the em run the command

    sqlcmd -s <servername> -U<username sa or ca_itrm> -P <password> 

     

    when you can connect client auto can connect.  make sure you know what port the dm instance is on as well as having tcp/ip enabled on the db to a specific port the default is dynamic.  make sure the fire wall is open to the sql port
