  • 1.  Using NRI with XenServer

    Hi,

     

    Is it possible to use NRI on XenServer? I have tried and got the error "nriagent_rc=126", I'm not sure if this means incompatibility or if it is just a wrong parameter at the "ini" file.

    Have you tried to use the RVI inventory option for XenServer?

    I'm trying it now...DSM Explorer is crashing during the deployment of the primer.

    I managed to use NRI though...had to give R/W permissions to all files in folder and use the following command:

     

    ./cmnriagent -script adv.ini -o $nri_home"/nriagent/collect" -file $HOSTNAME"_adv.xiu"

     

    It works, but detects the platform as RedHat.

    Any tips for deploying the RVI will be appreciated.
