  • 1.  All Catalog Deployed Software By Unit Report

    Hello!

    I need to produce a report that shows all software deployed from the catalog.

    I ran the All Catalog Deployed Software By Unit report.

    When I view the results there is no data in output (Filter is Enabled by default).

    I disable the Filter and 100000 records are displayed, but nothing that designates Ordered By Catalog.

    I know there are Catalog deployments because there are still  Job Containers that start with "Catalog:" in the All Software Jobs view.

    Is this a bug?

    Please advise

    I created a Report

    Fields

    Jobs

    Software jobs

    Job container status

    All

    Container name   Filter by %Catalog%

    Hi Mike,

    Not a filter problem.

    In my lab I see the field populated in the report.

    I can sort the report and find all the "Catalog" entries.

    In the system I am working on, there are no "Catalog" entries in the raw report data.

    So the filter does not help :-(

    Jeff,

     

    Did you say there were 100,000 rows in the unfiltered report? That probably means the raw data is being truncated at 100,000 lines. Change the reporter’s settings to allow more than 100,000 rows in the result.

    Yes. You are correct. I changed that earlier after just after I posted this.

    I am seeing the data when I look at an individual machine so this setting appears to the the issue.

    I scheduled the report to run after hours and will check in the morning.
