  • 1.  Dsm Explorer on Terminal Server

    Hi

    We recently went from ITCM 12.8 to 14.0 SP2. 

    We've installed DSM explorer on a Terminal Server Farm in load balancing mode.

    Following this, at regular interva,l DSM explorer 'freeze' on one server or another...   (EDIT: egc30n.exe (3.0.301.200) stop working)

    So, we were wondering is DSM Explorer is Terminal Server Aware (RDS aware), is there a specific way to install? 

    If so, what can cause this problem.

    Hi Remy,

     

    The DSM Explorer is not RDS aware, but normally works fine and we have many customers using it in this environment.

     

    You would install the Explorer in the same was as any other application on a terminal server by putting it into "install mode" with "change user /install"

    Hi

     Is there a maximum number of  pepople that can connect at the same time??

     On our server, the Explorer GUI stop after around 3 seconds

     



     

    Thaen we receive a message about the AM not responding

     
    if we wait around 15-20 minutes the GUI seem to start normally...
