Hi Pete,
We're using 4.0.5 build 68.
We are indeed seeing the disconnection lines on each report:
2020-01-08 13:30:33 Disconnecting from OurServer port 22
2020-01-08 13:30:33 Disconnecting from TheirServer port 22
This is why it is confusing to see so many "open" connections that they were able to send to us.
I'm not sure it really matters, but the job settings are 2 transfer threads, 2 reconnection attempts on stall, and 60s stalled transfer detection time. But the jobs almost always run in under 10 seconds. Never over 60s.

We are on RAFTP software version 4.0.7 (you can find this under Administration/Agents)
The last line of its execution report is;
Disconnecting from <hostname> port <portnum>
Do you get this message?

Subject: RAFTP SFTP Connections not closing
We are on v12.3.0 and have some RAFTPs that run about 200x per day. The reports of these jobs indicate that Automic is disconnecting from each server, but the third party has shown us that we had over 1000 connections which did not close properly. Of course, we hit our limit and could no longer connect. The other company was able to kill all these open connections, but I want to know if there is anything we can do on our side to make completely sure that the connections are fully closed.
Any ideas?
