12.3.1 - jobs ENDED_VANISHED

Hi all,
We recently upgraded from AE11.2 to 12.3 and we have some large workflows having jobs that end up with a status of 'ENDED_VANISHED - disappeared'.
This does not happen to all jobs, and the logs these jobs do not seem to contain any errors.
The jobs can be restarted and complete successfully
This is happening to jobs on two different servers
It does not happen to the same jobs each time, but they are the same type of job: unix job running a command to execute a shell script
It only happens to  some large workflows that have a number of jobs running parallel.

I plan to open a ticket today if we don't make any progress but I wanted to see if anyone had suggestions.

did you check Agent logs for errors?
We had a similar issue, on one of our our linux servers was ulimit for max user processes on 1024 - jobs occasionally crashed. restart worked fine.

if you are using one of the latest version of UC4 / AWA / One Automation please get in contact with Support to open a ticket.
Otherwise update/upgrade your system and check if the problem still exists.

Hi,
Wolfgang, thank you for your response.
We narrowed down the problem and a colleague posted a more detailed question later (After upgrade from 11.2 to 12.3, command style unix jobs have 'ENDED_VANISHED' status).   We've had several responses that have led us to upgrading the unix agent to 12.3.1 and we'll be testing that today.
