    Hi everyone,
I am trying to find the most economical license configuration for an end customer.
It is a very small installation.
1 Automic Windows Server + 1 Automic Agent for Linux RedHat.
The problem I find is that if I do a standard license configuration (CA AWA Base Edition), that is,
1 Automic Automation - Engine (AUTENG990) Perpetual / Production / 1 Instance + 1 Automic - Technology Nodes (AUTWTN990) Perpetual / Production / 1 Node ..... the figures are really very high for this small installation. Approximately 110K (total list cost), even getting a good discount, the amount would remain unaffordable.
Making the configuration by task / day, the result would be even higher.
Does anyone have any configuration ideas?
    Thank you

    Hi,

If you license an Automic System with one single agent it's like buying a car but only needing a bycicle...

    Just my 50 cents

    Cheers

    Hi,

Fully ack with @Christoph Rekers, if you only need one agent it seems like the wrong tool for the job.

Also, enterprise software companies are often times not very keen on very small customers who might generate nearly as much support requirements and general overhead as larger ones. This might explain why very small site pricing may be prohibitively expensive.

Regardless, I suggest you contact a sales person or key account manager with the individual request anywyay. Not only are two Automic contracts seldomly alike - maybe they can make a special offer, but also, they also said they are working on a cloud offering ("Automic as a service"). Maybe that becomes an option for small shops soon.

    Hth,
