AIX Agent (v9.1) connection to AE 12.3

Hi All,

We are facing issues with connection between our AIX agent (verson 9) to AE 12.3, this was earlier connected to AE 12.1 and was working fine.
We have another agent running on the same machine and connected successfully to port 2319 and cp port 2217 to a different AE (12.1) server.

Below is the error which we get after editing the agent ini as below.

below is the error i get when i start the agent.

20201029/005917.850 - U0022002 UC4 ServiceManager, Version '9.00A233-561' ended abnormally.

Please let me know if anyone has encountered this issue and what could be the cause and solution to it.

Hi Shani,

beside the fact that version 9 is out-of-everything since 2016.12 and has never been tested against AE 12.x the error points out that the port is in use. Just modify the Agent INI configuration file and change the current port number 2308 to another free number.

BTW: which company are you working for which is still using this old and unsupported version?
