Job Rescheduled in a C-Period but unable to run as per its new Schedule

Hi Team,

We have rescheduled one Job : GC_SALESTICKETS_REMOVENULLS_V15 on C-Period : GC_SALESTICKETS_REMOVENULLS_V15 to run from 7.10 am CET to 22.10 Pm CEt with a gap of every 1 hour.

But we see that its not running as per new schedule and is running as per new schedule and is running every 1 hour as per its old schedule.

Kindly let us know how an existing C-period schedule can be changed.

Please check on the activity window and right click on properties and check if the job is scheduled to run as per the new time

Yes we have checked the C-period is showing the new schedule timings are n activity window.

We see that the Job is not able to complete successfully and is getting aborted/not completed with following error : FAULT_OTHER-Start Impossible error as shown in below screenshot:

The Job is supposed to run every hour between 7.10 am CET to 22.10 CET all days and is running as per -Period : GC_SALESTICKETS_REMOVENULLS_V15

Kindly reply on priority as we need to get the issue fixed.

I would select one of the "FAULT_OTHER" runs and view its details to determine the root cause of the failure;

Hi Peter,

We see that in the details section the error message shows:  "U00020331 Runtime error in object 'GC_SALESTICKETS_REMOVENULLS_V15(1)', line '00001': U00000009 'JDE_SQL_LOGINS_V15': Access denied"

Since yesterday the same error is coming in every run.

Kindly reply with the possible course of action on priority so as the suitable runs are not affected.

Looks to me like JDE_SQL_LOGINS_V15 is a login object and you don't have permissions (anymore) to use it.

So either the user ADMMOHDZAIN/EDC needs more grants, or the process needs to be executed by a user that already has the necessary grants.

Restrictions like these are usually in place for a good reason, so don't go changing your security settings without understanding why they are set that way in the first place.
