If you create a Static Keyword whose "Validity period" is - let's say - end of 2022 and you use this static keyword in an "dynamic keyword" like "Group" than the validity period of that dynamic keywords is limited by the validity period of the static keyword. Thus make sure your Holidays have a reasonable validity period. I often recommend: make your holiday cale valid until you retire ;-)
The recalculation of dynamic keyword for the next year happens at the beginning of each new year (1. January, 00:00 UTC). Now_PLUS gets immediately activ. Nevertheless you need to reopen the calendar to see the changes.

I do not know exactly what you are doing, but its wrong :-)
Just enter NOW_PLUS and the amount of years into UC_CLIENT_SETTINGS VARA.
