    Good day to you!

    Your post is extraordinarily low on detail information (for instance, what cloud are we talking about?) but ​in principle I don't really see why not.

    The cloud is usually "someone else's computer". The general principles of TCP/IP connectivity still apply even with distributed cloud operation, and the software is the same, so uc4.jar should work as it would with an on-premises install.

    Of course all other caveats of a local installation also apply: at least some sources have claimed that the Java interface (which uc4.jar connects to) might go away in the future and be replaced by the REST interface. Thus, for future-proofing it might pay to look into the REST interface instead.
