The Automic Installation Guide contains almost all the available information on HA installations:

There is information contained in the Sizing and Installation sections specificially. Or in brief, you set up multiple engine servers with their own set of processes, but only a single PWP (Primary Worker Process), and ensure the servers are part of the same installation identifier (in ucsrv.ini) and can talk to each other. Then, for the web interface, you can set up multiple servers and load balance them with third party means as you see fit.
